About Us

Goldsboro Physical Therapy has fulfilled its mission of providing quality
patient care, prevention and wellness, and community service since 1985.
We are a therapist-owned, private outpatient facility located in Goldsboro,
North Carolina. Located near Wayne Memorial Hospital, we serve all of
Wayne County, including Mount Olive, Snow Hill and surrounding areas.

History

The practice was founded in 1985 by Harry L. Moore, LPT and Tony L. Williams,
LPT and has served the community for over 20 years. In 1998, GPT was
awarded membership in the Rehabilitation Associates Network (RAN), the
largest network of outpatient rehabilitation therapy clinics in the Carolinas.
Today, Goldsboro Physical Therapy has a full-time staff of four physical
therapists and six assistants who treat patients in our 6,000 square foot
facility.

Biographies

Harry L. Moore, PT

Harry is the founder and president of GPT. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University, he gained substantial experience with orthopedics, chronic pain management, industrial rehabilitation, splinting & hand therapy, golf fitness & rehab, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Harry is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association.

     
 

Tony L. Williams, PT

Tony is the Vice President of GPT. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University and joined GPT in 1986. Tony's areas of expertise include orthopedics, sports medicine, total joint rehabilitation, orthotics/prosthetics, and spinal & stroke rehabilitation.

Tony is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association.

     
 

Melanie B. Williams, PT

Melanie is a staff physical theraptist with Goldsboro Physical Therapy. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University and joined GPT in 1988. Melanie excels in a broad range of therapies including pain management, home health services, stroke rehabilitation, balance reeducation, fall prevention and women's health.
